Position: Educator at Bionerds biology workshops for kids from K-8th grades.

Responsibilities:

• Teach biology curriculum and assist kids with hands-on activities.
• Set up and clean up classroom before and after classes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related science/experience required.
• Teaching experience preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Info and Skills:

• Availability for in-person work during mornings and/or afternoons, 2-6 hours/day, up to 5 days/week during regular seasons, and 4-8 hours/day during summer.
• Occasional weekend work for events (2-5 hours).
• Must love working with kids, be reliable, organized, flexible, eager to learn, a team player, and possess good communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within Orange County.
• Must pass background, fingerprint, drug, and TB tests.
• Paid hourly, approximately up to 30 hours/week depending on availability and registration numbers.
• Opportunities to work from home assisting departments like Administration, Marketing, and Curriculum.
