Why Your Role MattersThe primary focus of this appointment is to increase the school’s capacity in teaching and service leadership in the areas of business and human resources management. Experience developing new skills and competencies, particularly in relation to uncertainty and change triggered by emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, and future‑of‑work agendas in public and private sectors, is highly desirable. Experience teaching in defence contexts is highly desirable.
Applications are particularly welcome from people with experience teaching business and management and human resource management courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and lifelong learning levels.
- A PhD in a field that complements the breadth of expertise of the School and supports teaching in Business Management and/or Human Resources Management.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery of human resources management courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
- Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Demonstrated track record in research with outcomes of high quality and high impact and a clear desire and ability to continually achieve research excellence and research leadership.
- High level communication skills and ability to network effectively and interact with a diverse range of students and staff.
- Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
