Job Description

As the GIS Dev Ops Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful launch and management of our 14-week GIS Software Development course. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, from curriculum development to student support and industry partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development:
    Collaborate with curriculum developers and industry experts to design a comprehensive and up-to-date curriculum for the GIS Software Development course.
  • Instructional Leadership:
    Lead a team of instructors and guest lecturers to deliver high-quality instruction and hands-on training to students.
  • Student Support:
    Provide guidance and support to students throughout their learning journey, ensuring their success and satisfaction with the program.
  • Industry Engagement:
    Forge strategic partnerships with GIS industry leaders, government agencies, and tech companies to enhance program relevance and create opportunities for student internships and job placements.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, gather feedback from stakeholders, and implement continuous improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Budget Management:
    Oversee the program budget, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure financial sustainability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in GIS software development, Dev Ops, or related roles
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in GIS technology
  • Experience in curriculum development and instructional design is a plus
