Job SummaryReporting to the head coach, this position’s primary responsibility is to aid the head coach in day‑to‑day operations of the rowing program.
Essential Job Functions- Provide instruction for practice and regattas
- Assist in creation of training plans
- Assist in execution of race strategies
- Prepare and analyze performance breakdowns post‑competition
- Identify highly qualified prospective student athletes
- Assist in retention efforts
- Basic understanding of boat maintenance and care
- Other duties as assigned
- Previous coaching experience (1-2 years preferred)
- Rowing experience
- Problem solving
- Analytical and strategic thinking

- Communication (written and verbal)

- 9‑month position
- 20 hours per week
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Position requires work on weekends and/or nights
- Travel with the team during season is expected
Salary range for this role is $11,000‑$12,000.
