At L&D, we believe in a collaborative approach. This means that your work as an LXD will always involve working closely with our SMEs and coordinators. Our ideal candidate is a team player, a good communicator and a great listener. You should already have experience in creating learning materials and delivering in‑person training and should be willing to learn new things as well.

  • Develop storyboards and interactive learning content across multiple modalities (in‑person courses, webinars and e‑learning)
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning experiences and recommend and implement improvements based on learner feedback and performance data
  • Support the design, development and evaluation of our certification exams to make sure the exams are valid, reliable and in alignment with job‑relevant competencies
  • Work on projects with a small team composed of SMEs, other LXDs, a Visual Designer and other profiles
  • Manage Learning Experience Development projects, ensuring high‑quality results are delivered on time
What We're Looking For:
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Sciences, Pedagogy, Instructional Design or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years in creating learning content and interactive curriculum design
  • Solid understanding of Instructional Design principles and learning theory: ADDIE Model, Bloom’s Taxonomy and other industry‑recognised methods

  • Part of our pay policy is that we offer attractive total remuneration. We take pride in offering outstanding secondary benefits that truly set us apart. Beyond the tangible perks, you’ll also gain the invaluable reward of working for a mission‑driven organisation—where your contributions have a real and lasting impact on the Internet and the internet community we serve.
  • A modern, flexible and informal work environment in the heart of Amsterdam, with an emphasis on a healthy work/life balance

  • 30 vacation days, plus three collective days, plus public holidays
  • A gross health insurance compensation for you and, if applicable, your partner, and your children under 21 years old. This means that the RIPE NCC pays for the majority of your health insurance, and you will only pay the taxes.
