Snake River Opportunities High School (9–12)

The School Counselor supports students at Snake River Opportunities High School (SROHS) through academic guidance, student wellness, and post‑secondary planning in a virtual and adventure‑based environment. This is a half‑time position for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year
, with the possibility of moving to full‑time in 2026–2027 based on program growth and student need.

• Idaho Pupil Service Staff Certificate with a School Counselor Endorsement.
• Experience in online or alternative settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of academic advising, student wellness, and college/career readiness
  .

• Provide academic, wellness, and post‑secondary counseling in a virtual model.
• Maintain the College & Career Opportunities Schoology course and share scholarship/job updates.
• Coordinate supports with the Student Supportive Services Team and Teacher‑Mentors
  .
• Follow up on attendance or engagement issues in partnership with the Attendance Clerk
  .
• Develop and monitor 504 accommodation plans
  .
• Support and attend Adventure Learning experiences connected to student wellness and career goals.

Placement on Snake River School District Teacher Salary Schedule prorated for half‑time status.
