About Walla Walla Community CollegeWe inspire all students to discover their potential and achieve their goals by providing relevant, equitable, and innovative learning opportunities and services. We value learning opportunities, a sense of community, diversity, health and humor, excellence, integrity, teamwork, innovation, personal and professional growth, and sustainability.
WWCC strives to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, not only because diversity fuels excellence and innovation but because we want to pursue justice. We are all responsible for creating a safer, more inclusive environment.
WWCC campuses sit on the native lands of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla people and the Nez Perce tribe. Established in 1967, our main campus (Walla Walla) is 130 acres on the edge of Titus Creek with views of the Blue Mountains. Additional facilities include programs at Washington State Penitentiary and Coyote Ridge Corrections Center, extending the College’s footprint throughout its four-county district.
The Clarkston campus is a hub of educational activity in Asotin and Garfield counties.
WWCC offers programs in Agriculture & Natural Resources, Arts, Humanities & Communications, Business & Consumer Services, Education & Social Sciences, Healthcare & Emergency Services, Manufacturing, Electrical & Transportation, Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM), Transitional Studies, Personal & Professional Development. Our enrollment is more than 2,000 students per year: 51% White, 23% Hispanic, 18% Multiracial, 2% Black/African American, 1% Asian, 1% American Indian or Alaska Native.
WWCC is an aspiring Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI).
WWCC is accepting applications for a part‑time History Instructor to join a pool of professionals we can contact for teaching U.S. History III (HIST & 148). The pool is continuous and is open on a rolling basis.
