We are seeking one organisation scholar and one strategy scholar to join our team. We welcome expertise in areas such as sustainability, strategic use of AI in organisations, market positioning, mergers & acquisitions, leadership, organisational behaviour, crowdfunding, opportunity recognition and exploitation, and innovation. Scholars with complementary interests are also encouraged to apply.

You will join a dynamic, internationally oriented faculty with strong ties to leading universities and research institutes worldwide.

• Academic foundation – You hold a PhD in Organisation, Strategy, or Entrepreneurship and have published or have forthcoming articles in international peer‑reviewed journals.
• Research mindset – You are familiar with diverse empirical methods and have an interest in grant acquisition and research impact.
• Passionate educator – You have experience in teaching and course development, and you know how to engage students in our small‑scale, problem‑based learning (PBL) system. Experience in international classrooms is a plus.
• Collaborative spirit – You value teamwork and contribute to a positive, inclusive academic community.
• Language skills – You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written.
• Commitment – You are willing to relocate to (the vicinity of) Maastricht.

At Maastricht University, you’ll work in an international, open, and engaged environment. We offer:

• A temporary contract with a maximum of 18 months, with the prospect of a permanent contract based on mutual satisfaction.
• A gross monthly salary between €4,728 and €6,433 (based on full‑time employment of 38 hours per week). 8% holiday allowance and an 8.3% year‑end bonus.
• 29 vacation days (based on full‑time), four additional days off (Carnival Monday and Tuesday, Good Friday, and Liberation Day), and the possibility to accrue up to 12 extra days through compensation hours.
