Are you passionate about helping young people grow in confidence and achieve real progress?
TP Tutors is looking for dedicated Maths and English Tutors to support learners across Gateshead (NE8) who need personalised, one-to-one teaching outside the classroom environment.

Many of the pupils you’ll work with may have fallen behind, struggled with attendance, or require a learning approach that’s tailored to their pace. Your role is to create engaging sessions that build core skills, boost self-belief, and help each learner move towards their goals.

This position is delivered face-to-face
, with sessions taking place in community settings or the pupil’s home during the school day.

• Experience delivering Maths and/or English at primary or secondary level
• A patient, adaptable approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate reluctant learners
• An Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

• £25–£30 per hour (PAYE)
• Flexible hours Monday to Friday
• Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
• Free CPD to strengthen your tutoring practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
