As a tutor you will teach ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

Schedule:

50‑minute 1‑on‑1 lessons, set by you, held once a week. You will build a welcoming and fun learning environment and serve as a reliable role model.

Pay: $20 USD per class plus additional incentives.

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for students
• Update availability in the Cosmo App on time
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for student’s age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students professionally
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 in ELA
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum
• Experience teaching ESL learners
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
• Available between 08:00–02:00 PM GMT Monday‑Friday or 05:00 AM–02:00 PM GMT weekends
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week
• Access to a private and quiet location
• Passion for helping students learn
• Currently located in the UK
• Approachable, patient, adaptive, considerate, enthusiastic, and reliable
