- Length: 18‑month contract with possibility of extension
- Salary: $46,000‑48,000/year (experience dependent)

We’re on a mission to inspire environmental action through education. Our interdisciplinary, action‑oriented programs equip learners with the skills they need to take environmental action at home, school and in the community.
AboutThe Role
Bilingual Educators are responsible for delivering in‑person programming in classrooms and community spaces, and occasionally virtual settings. Educators guide participants through engaging workshops that appeal to all learning types and empower participants to take personal environmental actions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to fulfill this role and represent Elements Society in a professional manner. Candidates must have experience working with children and youth and general knowledge of environmental topics.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with other staff, program partners and teachers to deliver quality education programs in French and English.
- Go above and beyond to create a positive learning environment and experience for students, teachers and participants.
- Demonstrate personal leadership, integrity and professionalism.
- Adapt or develop program lessons to meet student needs.
- Fulfill administrative duties required for program success and assist with marketing, communications, fund development and other functions as required.
- Previous experience delivering education programs to children and youth in classroom and/or community settings.
- An understanding of environmental topics.
- Ability to deliver programs in both French and English.
- Experience in food preparation and safety is an asset for the Eco Cooks program.
- Access to a vehicle for program delivery and transportation of props/materials.
- The ability to adapt quickly to changes in work with limited supervision.
- Collaborative approach to effectively contribute to a team‑based work environment.
- Previous experience in the not‑for‑profit industry preferred.
- Two weeks paid vacation, plus paid office closure between Christmas and New Year's.
