Online Health & Social Care Teacher (WJEC) – Welsh & English Medium

We are urgently recruiting qualified, motivated, and professional teachers to deliver WJEC Health and Social Care, with a high demand for those capable of teaching through the medium of Welsh (cyfrwng Cymraeg) and English‑medium specialists.

This is "real teaching" in a purpose‑built online classroom – not just a video call. You focus on the students; we handle the curriculum.

• Deliver high‑quality Health and Social Care lessons (WJEC specification).
• Teach through the medium of Welsh if bilingual, or as an English‑medium specialist.
• Engage students and assess learning using pre‑created resources – no lesson planning required.
• Commit to 5–25 lessons per week, primarily between 08:30 and 17:00.

The process includes an interview, a platform training session, a "Microteach" lesson observation, and an asynchronous induction course.

• DBS: Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• UK‑Based History: No recent overseas work that would trigger additional safety checks.
• Availability: Start immediately after induction.
• QTS: Hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
• Subject Specialism: Experience delivering Health and Social Care, specifically the WJEC specification.
• Welsh Language: Ability to teach through the medium of Welsh is highly desirable.
• Tech Ready: Reliable laptop/PC, stable internet connection, and headset.

Competitive Pay: £24.20 per 45‑minute lesson (approx. £32/hr pro‑rata). OTE £4,700‑£23,600 p.a. based on part‑time vs. full‑schedule availability.
