Montana is looking for a dedicated Academy Manager to elevate our training universe to the next level and strengthen the capabilities of both our internal teams and our international markets. The position is based in Copenhagen, but you may reside on Funen or Zealand in order to perform the job.
As Academy Manager, you will be responsible for developing, planning and delivering training across Montana. You will play a key role in ensuring that our colleagues, retailers and partners are equipped to understand, sell and communicate Montana’s universe with confidence and enthusiasm.
The position is based in our vibrant Marketing Department in Copenhagen and reports directly to the Brand & Marketing Director.
Your areas of responsibilityExternal training and activities
- Planning and delivering Academy product training across all markets – both in person, digitally, and in close collaboration with local sales teams.
- Developing and executing digital training modules (onboarding, product training, tutorials for Montana’s 3D configurator, etc.).
- Facilitating workshops for retailers, architects and market teams.
- Practical coordination related to activities and events, including preparation, materials, procurement and clean-up (with the option to delegate some tasks to a student assistant).
- Systematic follow-up on training programmes and participant feedback through newsletters, surveys and CRM.
- Hosting and coordinating factory tours for customers, agents and partners visiting the factory in Haarby, Funen.
- Travel days should be expected – both to Haarby, where a large part of the training is anchored, and to our international markets.
Internal training
- Deliver internal product training for Sales and other internal teams:
Back to Basics, launch training and expert courses. - Contribute to a strong onboarding setup and support managers in planning introduction programmes for new employees.
Content, development and communication
- Maintain, update and develop all Academy content – both physical and digital.
- Develop new workshops and learning formats that make complex content understandable, inspiring and actionable.
- Produce digital training videos and tutorials, e.g. on Montana’s 3D configurator, the Quick Ship assortment or bespoke programmes for key customers.
- Plan training courses in collaboration with Sales and prepare invitations, materials and agendas.
- Manage follow-up, certificates, rewards and competitions.
- Contribute to newsletters and internal communication about Academy activities.
- Handle booking of hotels, transport and restaurants for larger training events.
- Coordinate closely with internal product owners, specialists and external partners.
We imagine that you
- Have experience within learning, training, communication, retail/brand activation, sales training or similar.
- Are strong in communication – both verbally and in writing – and enjoy presenting to groups.
- Can translate complex product and design knowledge into engaging learning formats.
- Have a structured approach and enjoy working with planning, execution and practical tasks.
- Build strong relationships and are curious about people across cultures and markets.
- Have solid digital skills and a flair for producing training content. Experience with Canva and/or Adobe InDesign for graphic adjustments is an advantage.
- Speak and write Danish and English at a professional level. Other languages are a plus.
Knowledge of the furniture industry, design, retail or B2B sales is an advantage – but not a requirement.
