Remote ESL Teacher – Cosmo 1:1

Cosmo 1:1 connects K‑12 students in the US, Canada, and Asia with tutors for personalized 1‑on‑1 lessons. As a tutor you will teach ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

Meet students at set times each week for 50‑minute lessons, creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment.

Pay: $20 USD per class plus additional incentives.

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
• Build a welcoming and fun learning environment for students

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 in ELA
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum
• Experience teaching ESL learners
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
• Available between 8 – 2 PM GMT on Monday‑Friday or 5 AM – 2 PM GMT on weekends
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week
• Access to a private and quiet location
• Passion for helping students learn
• Currently located in the UK
