Online Teacher - Fully Remote

Overview

Join Cosmo 1:1 as an Online Teacher — Fully Remote. Cosmo 1:1 connects K-12 students in APAC with tutors from top universities for personalized lessons. You will have a flexible, student-focused schedule with 50-minute 1:1 lessons each week. Cosmo provides learning plans for tutors. The base rate is $20 USD per class with additional incentives and bonuses.

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student1s age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff

• Bachelors Degree
• 3 years of experience teaching ages 5-18
• Experience teaching ESL and ELA in a virtual environment
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
• Available between 9-2 PM BST on Monday through Friday or during weekends
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability per week
• Access to a private and quiet location
• Currently located in the UK
• Currently has or is able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (cost not covered by Cosmo)
• Approachable, patient, adaptive, considerate, enthusiastic, and reliable demeanor in an online classroom environment
