Online Catholic Theology Teachers - Part Time

Hudson Global Scholars' Catholic Virtual is now hiring part-time teachers for live online Catholic Theology courses. Positions require daytime availability, Monday through Friday.

Role:
Part-time teachers deliver online course content, provide instruction and support, and manage the learning process to meet students' individual needs. Teachers monitor student progress and provide interventions to help students achieve their goals.

• Provide live and asynchronous instruction.
• Support domestic and international students.
• Prepare for live sessions with appropriate technology and materials.
• Adhere to communication procedures and grading timelines.
• Provide feedback and maintain student documentation.
• Implement and uphold virtual classroom rules and order.
• Collaborate with Mentor Teachers and Academic Managers.
• Follow Hudson Global Scholars' policies and ethical guidelines.
• Teach in a Catholic faith-based program, respecting religious beliefs.

• Bachelor's degree in Theology from a Catholic University (required).
• Minimum one year of online teaching experience (preferred).
• Practicing Catholic in good standing, as evidenced by a letter from your Pastor or other Parish Official (required).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in a Catholic school (preferred).
• Catechist Certification (preferred).
• Flexibility for early morning or late evening classes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills.

• Approximately $20 per hour.

• 4GB PC (Windows 10/11) or 4GB Mac (OS 10.7.5+) (Chromebook not supported).
• Firefox (74+).
• High-speed internet (5 Mbps+).
• Some courses may require Adobe Flash and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
• A cell phone capable of receiving text messages.
