Seeking a caring and responsible After Care Aide to help supervise students during our after-school program. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that supports the mission of our Catholic school community.
Job Responsibilities- Supervise and actively engage with students during after-school hours.
- Assist with snack time, homework support, indoor/outdoor play, and organized activities.
- Monitor student behavior and ensure safety and well-being at all times.
- Uphold and model Catholic values in interactions with students, staff, and parents.
- Communicate effectively with the After Care Coordinator, teachers, and parents.
- Help clean and organize the after-care space before and after use.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including emergency and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children in a school, camp, or childcare setting preferred
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Warm, patient, and consistent in interactions with students
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
