Job SummaryThe Department of Computer Science and Engineering Technology seeks an instructor to teach a range of computer science courses, including Java Programming I and II, Discrete Math, Computer Organization, Data Structures, Unix Programming, Computer Ethics, C Programming, E‑Commerce, Networking, Operating Systems, Databases, Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, and Artificial Intelligence.
The position is 100% remote. Due to current policy, VSU is not sponsoring H‑1B visa petitions.
Responsibilities- Teach courses as outlined above, ensuring high‑quality instruction and student engagement.
- Develop and update course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Provide academic mentoring and support to students.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
- Record of mentoring students.
Commensurate with experience.
