Job Title: Learning Innovation Specialist Teacher Fellow Lead
Department: Learning Programs
Reports To: Ed Farm Head of Learning Programs
Status: Full-time, 50% Remote
Job Purpose:The Learning Innovation Specialist Teacher Fellow Lead oversees the implementation, evaluation, and impact of the Ed Farm Teacher Fellowship program, fostering innovation to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. Responsibilities include developing initiatives to increase educator engagement and technology best practices, coordinating professional development, and providing ongoing support to teachers and staff in designated regions.
Expectations:- Travel as needed to support 50% remote positions.
- Availability Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00 PM CST with flexibility for outside hours based on needs.
- Stable internet and professional appearance on Zoom.
- Represent Ed Farm and coordinate with regional leadership and partners.
- Lead the Teacher and Student Fellowship programs in assigned regions.
- Collaborate with the DoLP team to meet all contractual deliverables.
- Design and implement technology-enhanced learning experiences aligned with standards.
- Co-design and co-teach the Introduction to Innovation course at 10 middle schools.
- Provide instructional support and mentorship to instructors at selected schools.
Success will be measured on responsibilities such as professional learning, course delivery, coaching, collaboration, and policy compliance, with evaluations occurring twice yearly and as needed.
Required Skills and Knowledge:- Knowledge of Apple’s “Everyone Can Code” and “Everyone Can Create” curricula, Alabama’s Digital Literacy standards.
- Experience in instructional design and technology integration for K-12.
- Excellent communication skills with diverse groups.
- Proficiency with Apple products and supporting tools.
- Ability to design assessments, analyze data, and improve instruction.
- Strong facilitation skills and knowledge of education standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or related field.
- 3-5 years classroom teaching and coaching preferred.
- 1-3 years instructional technology coaching preferred.
- Experience with data analysis related to student outcomes.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel statewide and nationally.
