Method to assess remote work:
Monthly meetings, verbal and written feedback, project review of deliverables, timeliness of work and effectiveness of up-to-date and accurate notes, and record keeping.

• The graduate assistant will work on GIS projects contracted by Antioch’s Spatial Analysis Lab (ASAL).
• Projects may involve research of faculty, map making for local governments, trail maps and maps associated with Natural Resource inventories (50%).
• Additionally, teaching assistant duties would include supporting faculty teaching Introduction to GIS (50%).
• Strong foundational GIS and teaching skills are desired.

• Proficient in basic GIS skills (e.g., map making, data collection).
• Functional in Arc Pro. Desired skills include knowledge of QGIS and drone use.
• Desire to teach and patience with GIS problem solving as well as novice learners.
