About the Role:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a Bilingual School Psychologist for the school year in the Chicago area. This full-time, school-based position is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about supporting a diverse K12 student population through assessments, counseling, and collaboration with school teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho educational assessments and evaluations in both English and Spanish
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and interventions to support academic and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Previous school-based experience preferred
