Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design and teach online MBA courses in the following concentrations:
    • Healthcare Management
    • Innovation and Entrepreneurship
    • Organizational Management
    • Risk Management
    • Athletic Administration
    • Business Analytics
  • Draft course materials and lesson plans for seven‑week semester courses, conducted in six terms.
  • Deliver instruction via the Canvas LMS and maintain student engagement through virtual methods.
  • Assess student performance, provide feedback, and ensure course quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administrators to integrate innovative teaching practices.
Typical Qualifications
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Business or a related field.
  • Previous online teaching experience;
    Canvas proficiency is desirable.
  • Proficient use of personal computer and office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality online education.
  • Daily high‑speed internet access and a computer with camera (Windows or Apple OS).

This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part‑time teaching and course development assignments on an as‑needed basis. Applications will be reviewed as the need arises; you will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview.

Compensation:
Online course development proposals or development fees range from $500.00 to $3,000.00 depending on complexity. Pay for courses is based on credit hour rates as follows:

  • Masters Prepared $933.33 maximum per credit hour
  • Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour
  • Graduate Course – Masters Level Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour
  • Graduate Course – Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,100.00 maximum per credit hour
  • Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned
