The Department of Psychology is seeking an Undergraduate Student Assistant applicant for the spring semester.
ResponsibilitiesThe student will coordinate student activities for the spring and fall semesters. They will help with grade book entry and check for errors. They will also assist faculty with research, data entry, tracking alumni and assist them during group advising sessions.
Required Qualifications- Student must be a psychology major or minor or Preferred Junior or Senior.
- Understanding of research methodology & basic statistics would be helpful.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the faculty & staff.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and efficient organizational skills.
- Strong verbal, writing, research, Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Ability to create professional‑looking flyers for activities/events for advertising and use social media to advertise.
- Be prompt, reliable, and have a neat appearance.
- Be able to balance academics with work responsibilities.
- Must be enrolled with good academic standing and enrolled full‑time.
- Be able to adhere to a set work schedule and communicate any shift conflicts.
- Completed PSYC 2127 Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences
$8.25/hr this position can work up to 19 hours per week in person during normal business hours, no evening, weekend, or remote work.
