Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee behavior interventions for school students
  • Complete assessments, including functional analysis
  • Complete all behavior sections of the IEP
  • Design, manage, and interpret data collection systems
  • Report on progress at least quarterly
  • Participate in quarterly home visits for parent training
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians
  • Provide required supervision per BACB guidelines for RBTs
  • Assist with in‑service training development and implementation
  • Support teachers and allied health professionals
  • Assist with problem‑solving skill acquisition programs
  • Provide research to support alternative teaching plans
  • Collaborate on new strategies using scientific methods
Qualified Candidates Should Have

  • The ability to build professional relationships with students

  • Solid understanding of the assessment environment and available assistance

  • Proficiency with operating software such as Central Reach and Share Point
Job Requirements
  • Master's degree or PhD in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • Current PA Behavior Specialist License (LBS) credentials
  • Knowledge of current issues affecting the autism spectrum disorder and special education communities
  • Required knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Demonstrated experience using and understanding assessment tools (e.g., VP‑MAPP, ABLLS‑R, Essentials for Living) and data collection systems
