Do you have experience in planning, coordinating, and training others? YAMM is seeking a remote volunteer Training & Development Manager to plan and coordinate our volunteer training programs.
OverviewYAMM is seeking a Remote Volunteer Training & Development Manager to lead the creation and management of all volunteer training programs. This role is critical to ensuring new volunteers are well-prepared, confident, and equipped to support our mission in youth empowerment, education, and community development. This is a fully remote, volunteer position with flexible hours.
Volunteer Duties- Design and develop comprehensive onboarding and training programs for new volunteers.
- Update and maintain training materials, guides, and manuals.
- Conduct virtual orientation sessions and workshops.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with HR and volunteer leadership teams to align programs with organizational goals.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to volunteers.
- Training & Development – creating structured training programs for volunteers.
- Instructional Design – developing engaging and effective educational materials.
- Communication Skills – clear written and verbal communication for teaching and guidance.
- Remote Collaboration – working effectively with virtual teams.
- Project Management – planning and executing multiple training initiatives.
- Ability to assess volunteer learning needs and adjust training programs.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective teaching strategies.
- Ability to facilitate group sessions online and virtually.
- Knowledge of online collaboration and learning tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Ability to monitor and measure training outcomes.
- Experience developing training programs or materials.
- Experience leading volunteer onboarding or staff training.
- Experience facilitating workshops or webinars.
- Experience evaluating training effectiveness.
- Experience working in a nonprofit or volunteer-driven environment.
