Part-Time Remote Tutor (SAT & ACT)

The role involves leading dynamic SAT and ACT tutoring sessions, sharing educational progress with students and families, and utilizing curated resources for stress-free planning.

About The Role & Compensation

The key responsibilities include:

• Leading SAT and ACT tutoring sessions (90%)
• Sharing educational progress with students and families (5%)
• Utilizing curated resources for stress-free planning (5%)
• Working part-time with a 12-hour delivery target and 16 hours of availability, or a 20-hour delivery target with 24 hours of availability, including evenings and weekends
• Earning $23 per hour for tutoring and $10 per hour for prep and training time, or the local minimum wage, whichever is higher

Qualifications & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of two years’ study at an accredited university, with additional qualifications being a plus
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and a current residence
• At least one semester of teaching or tutoring experience
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional space, with a technology kit provided if needed
• The ability to commit to the same 16 or 24 hours of availability each week, with at least 8 hours on weekends

Schedule Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to post at least 16 or 24 prime-time hours weekly, with the same hours each week. The goal is to book you for 12 or 20 tutoring hours per week, depending on student demand.

Prime-time Hours

The prime-time hours are:

• Mon-Thu: 4-10 pm ET
• Sat: 9 am - 6 pm ET
• Sun: 11 am - 10 pm ET
• At least 8 hours of availability on Saturday and/or Sunday
