• Pay: $35.33–$70.11 per hour (salary modified by school calendar and location)
• Contract type:
Yearly (CY‑1710) with annual renewal
• Not eligible for telework or remote work under any circumstance
- Provide instruction as a classroom teacher, team teacher, remedial or special services teacher according to school structure.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate instructional activities in Health/Physical Education.
- Prepare yearly instructional outlines and daily lesson plans covering relevant units of study, specifying objectives, activities, and assessment methods.
- Teach students by selecting, developing, adapting, and implementing appropriate instructional methods and techniques using available resources.
- Continuously evaluate individual and group academic progress using tests, oral assessments, and other evaluation instruments.
- Maintain required records and produce progress reports to parents and concerned individuals.
- Maintain classroom control and discipline; counsel individual students within established guidelines.
- Handle responsibilities as a law‑government employee (e.g., drive a government vehicle, maintain valid driver’s license).

- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.
- All professional educators must possess a valid Teacher certification/licensure in the appropriate endorsement area; emergency and provisional certificates may be accepted under state conditions.
- State certification issued by the state of the position’s location is required.
- Applicants with out‑of‑state certification may be considered and may receive a provisional contract to obtain full state certification within two contract terms.
- Transitional Teacher candidates (CY‑1701) may apply and must obtain full state certification within three contract terms.
- Foreign education must be evaluated by a recognized private organization or hold equated U.S. credentials.
- Educational coursework related to the subject or general teaching methodologies is required.
- Experience will be considered for pay increments; resume must clearly describe relevant professional experience.
