To teach, conduct research, and provide service as a member of the Department of Nursing at the University of North Dakota.

• 40% – Teaching (may include: NURS 514:
  Essentials of Epidemiology; NURS 525:
  Multivariate Statistics; NURS 556: PhD Intensive; various undergraduate nursing courses as aligned with the candidate’s expertise)
• Scholarly/creative activities in consultation with the department chair; consistent with department, college, and university expectations and policies/procedures
• External funding of at least $5,000 required by five years
• 20% – Service to university, college, and/or department (activities in consultation with the department chair; consistent with department, college, and university expectations and policies/procedures)
• Highly‑developed oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong understanding of and commitment to the profession’s values
• High interest in working as part of a collaborative team
• Strong commitment to collegiality

• Doctoral degree in nursing OR doctoral degree in a related field with a master’s in nursing
• Unencumbered ND nursing license or eligibility for licensure in ND
• Active program of funded research
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

• Doctoral degree in nursing
• DNP scholarly project advisement experience
• Prior teaching experience
