    • What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Develop and implement instruction for students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and co-occurring disorders using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Monitor and report on students' progress toward educational goals for grades pre-k through 12th
  • Guide classroom support staff in educational instruction activities and intensive teaching sessions
  • Lead skill set/project meetings in collaboration with supervisors
  • Attend regular meetings with the clinical team to discuss student progress and strategies

    • What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Certification as a Licensed Intervention Specialist in the State of Ohio
  • 1-2 years of experience working as an Intervention Specialist or in a related field

    • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Teaching experience through field placement, student teaching, or employment, particularly with students with Autism and/or Behavior Disorders
