If you’re an experienced IBDP Global Politics teacher with classroom teaching experience, possess strong soft skills, and have a passion for education, you might be the perfect fit as a tutor for the extensive network at Crimson Education.
These roles are part‑time and hourly and can be done remotely working with students based around the world. The remuneration is set at 45 USD per hour.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR- Working closely with a variety of students based across the world - including the US, Asia, Australia, and Europe (within a time zone appropriate for you)
- Conducting tutoring sessions with students on a frequent ongoing basis
- Using IBDP Global Politics curriculum knowledge to deliver high-quality academic tutoring to our students
- Preparing students for upcoming examinations and strengthening base concepts in order to improve performance
- Maintaining reasonable levels of communication with students outside of formal sessions
- You are a qualified teacher and have 2+ years of experience classroom teaching the IB Global Politics curriculum (essential)
- You have examining and / or workshop-leading experience in your subject
- You have at least 4 hours of availability to tutor each week (more preferred)
- You’re passionate about education and enjoy teaching - ideally, you’ve even got some experience tutoring students already!
- You’re detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
