Online Academic Tutor Remote Position

Novastar Prep is seeking dedicated part-time tutors to join our team. Whether you're an experienced educator or someone with a strong academic background, this is your opportunity to work 1:1 with students in a supportive and personalized environment.

• Mathematics: Tutor students in Basic Math, Pre‑Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre‑Calculus, and Calculus I‑III.
• English Language Arts: Help students improve in Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills, Literature, Public Speaking, and Advanced Placement (AP) English.
• Science: Provide instruction in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and AP Science courses.
• Social Studies: Assist students with U.S. History, World History, European History, Civics/Government, Economics, and AP Studies courses.
• Test Preparation: Prepare students for the PSAT, SAT, ACT, SOLs, GRE, MCAT, and LSAT with focused, strategic tutoring.
• College Application Advising: Guide students through the College Essay writing process, College Application procedures, and Interview Preparation.

• Personalized Tutoring: Build lasting relationships by working consistently with the same students and tracking their progress over time.
• Flexible Scheduling: Set your own hours and work remotely.

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience: 1+ year of recent or current tutoring or teaching experience.
