Job Summary
HR Service Jobs is seeking passionate and dedicated Online Tutors to provide high-quality virtual instruction in Math, English, and Science for students in Singapore. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver one-on-one or small group online tutoring sessions in Math, English, and Science.
Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on students learning needs and curriculum requirements.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Foster an engaging and interactive online learning environment using digital tools and educational platforms.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and session attendance.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and learning strategies.
Stay updated with current curriculum trends, online teaching tools, and educational best practices.
Bachelors degree in Education, Mathematics, English, Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or academic mentoring (experience with online teaching platforms is preferred).
Strong proficiency in the subject area(s) being taught.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to engage students in a virtual learning environment and adapt teaching styles to individual needs.
Tech‑savvy, with the ability to use digital platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar tools.
Minimum of 1–2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
Experience working with students of varying ages and academic levels is preferred.
Prior experience in online or remote teaching is highly desirable.
Flexible scheduling to accommodate students needs.
Typical tutoring sessions may be during afternoons, evenings, or weekends.
Part‑time or full‑time availability depending on student assignments.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills to motivate students.
Ability to provide individualized attention and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
Familiarity with online educational tools and platforms for interactive learning.
