We are looking for a forward‑thinking professional to spearhead our efforts in reshaping English and Language Arts education through sophisticated data analysis, groundbreaking AI implementation, and profound subject expertise. Your objective? To achieve a 2x acceleration in how students acquire language skills and literary analysis capabilities, spanning from foundational phonics to sophisticated literary criticism.

2 Hour Learning is redefining K‑12 education with proven outcomes. Our AI‑powered learning platform is changing how students engage with content, allowing them to master material at double the rate of conventional schooling. Students on our platform routinely score 4s and 5s on five or more AP exams, exhibit growth exceeding two years on annual MAP assessments, and surpass their own perceived limits of achievement.

What

You Will Be Doing
  • Analyzing student reading and writing data through AI to identify patterns, then converting these findings into innovative approaches that transform English language instruction and literary analysis.
  • Developing AI‑driven tools that respond to diverse learning styles, making grammar accessible, vocabulary acquisition engaging, and literary analysis achievable for learners across all proficiency levels.
  • Creating adaptive learning sequences that adjust in real‑time, taking students from phonics through complex text interpretation while ensuring each individual advances at the most effective rate.
  • Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of educators, linguists, and AI specialists to expand the possibilities in language education, directly shaping the educational experiences of thousands of students.
  • Converting both classical and modern literature into interactive, AI‑enhanced learning modules that educate students while fostering genuine enthusiasm for reading and writing.

  • Overseeing conventional English curriculums or performing administrative duties—this position centers on innovation and strategic enhancement of language arts instruction and learning within our accelerated framework.
  • Operating independently—you'll join our collaborative team advancing the cutting edge of AI applications in English education.
  • Concentrating exclusively on abstract concepts—each AI model you create will tangibly influence how students comprehend and utilize language skills in practical contexts, all within the 2 Hour Learning environment.
Instructional Designer

Key Responsibilities

Deliver quantifiable enhancements in student English and Language Arts performance through AI‑powered analysis and execution, as evidenced by a 2x acceleration in skill acquisition across multiple domains (reading, writing, grammar, literature analysis) and grade levels, all operating within our transformative 2 Hour Learning model.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience teaching English/Language Arts or developing ELA curriculum, with demonstrable impact on learning outcomes
  • Basic coding abilities in any programming language
  • Experience designing, implementing, or using AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
