Job DescriptionThe Online Student Success Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for online students. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the online student journey, from enrollment to graduation, focusing on academic advising, student success, and retention. The Coordinator will serve as the main point of contact for online students, providing guidance, support, and resources to help them thrive in their academic endeavors.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide academic guidance to online students, helping them select appropriate courses and create a clear academic plan.
- Assist students in understanding degree requirements, program options, and prerequisites.
- Monitor student progress and intervene as needed to address challenges or obstacles to success.
- Connect students with campus resources such as tutoring services, career development, library, technical support, finance, and financial aid.
- Maintain regular communication with online students, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
- Collaborate with faculty and other departments to ensure a coordinated and supportive environment for online students.
- Collect and analyze data related to online student performance, satisfaction, and retention.
- Generate reports and insights to improve services and support for online students.
- Coordinate the online student registration process and maintain detailed records of student registration.
- Collect and compile data on course demand and academic requirements to inform course rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in academic advising, student support, or a related field in an online learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of online learning platforms and educational technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional problem‑solving and organizational skills.
