Part-Time Remote Tutor (Academic Support) at Revolution Prep. Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives—all from the comfort of your home. As a part-time tutor, you’ll be a W-2 employee with paid training, prep time, and a supportive community. Our in-house curriculum and resources let you focus on teaching.

• Lead dynamic academic support tutoring sessions (90%)
• Share educational progress with students and families (5%)
• Utilize our curated resources for planning (5%)

Note: Part-time schedule targets are 12 hours of tutoring with 16 hours of availability or 20 hours of tutoring with 24 hours of availability, including evenings and weekends.

• Pay: $20 per hour for tutoring; prep and training time compensated at $10 per hour or your local minimum wage (whichever is higher)

• Completed a minimum of two years at an accredited university; additional qualifications are a plus
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and current residence required
• Minimum of one semester teaching or tutoring experience
• Reliable high-speed internet and quiet, professional space; technology kit provided if needed (webcam, headset, ring light, green screen, annotation tablet)
• Ability to commit to the same 16 or 24 hours of availability week-on-week during weekday afternoons/evenings and at least 8 hours of weekends

• Availability posted weekly: 16 or 24 hours, with 12 or 20 tutoring hours per week depending on student demand
• Prime-time hours:
  Mon–Thu 4–10 pm ET;
  Sat 9 am–6 pm ET;
  Sun 11 am–10 pm ET
• Weekends: at least 8 hours of availability on Saturday and/or Sunday
• Advance planning: post schedules 9+ months ahead; submit time-off requests 4 weeks in advance

• Background check required for all tutors
• Tech kit available if needed (webcam, headset, green screen, annotation tablet)
• Company-provided materials; expected to prepare for sessions using these resources

• Paid onboarding and ongoing professional development
• No competition for hours; availability and subject expertise determine scheduling
• Supportive Faculty Leaders and tutor community
