School of Nursing Faculty – Nurse Midwifery Program

Shenandoah University’s Nursing Department is accepting applications for a Nursing Faculty-Midwifery Program. This is a full-time benefited, remote position teaching in a graduate online program. On‑campus presence is required for student on‑campus immersions, faculty retreats, and nursing graduation ceremonies. This 12‑month full‑time appointment involves teaching, service, and scholarship responsibilities in the School of Nursing, specifically teaching graduate didactic and clinical courses.

The Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing aims to empower lifelong learners who provide evidence‑based compassionate care to promote wellness for all.

The School of Nursing is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Shenandoah University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The School of Nursing offers baccalaureate, Master’s (FNP, PMHNP, NM), Postgraduate Certificates, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. The school has two physical locations:
Winchester Main Campus and Loudoun, and graduate programs are offered online with onsite campus immersions.

• Academic Experience
