Stride, Inc. is hiring a full‑time, remote Special Education Elementary Teacher for Indiana Digital Learning School (INDLS). The role starts immediately and requires a state‑certified Special Education license, student‑teaching experience, and background check clearance.

As a virtual Special Education Teacher, you will deliver IEP‑aligned instruction in an online environment, manage student progress, and collaborate with parents, coaches, and related services staff to meet each student’s individualized goals.

• Ensure all special education and related services are provided as determined by the IEP team.
• Communicate with parents and related service staff to provide appropriate therapies.
• Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and required state documentation.
• Facilitate annual IEP meetings and other collaborative special education meetings.
• Use provided resources to accommodate students with disabilities (assistive technology, supplemental curriculum, accessible text).
• Modify Stride K12 lessons and assessments to meet IEP specifications.
• Include and support students in the general education classroom.
• Collect data and work samples to monitor progress toward IEP goals.
• Document all contact with parents and student interventions.
• Analyze student data to prescribe remediation and enrichment as needed.
• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
• Maintain grade book and alert administrators to performance concerns.
• Prepare students for high‑stakes standardized tests.
• Establish positive rapport with families and respond to parent and coach inquiries in a timely manner.
• Travel up to 20% of the time for professional development, testing, or as required.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Active state Special Education teaching license.
• Six (6) months of student‑teaching experience.
• Clear required background check(s).

• Experience interpreting and presenting student data for instructional decisions.
• Receptive to coaching and professional growth.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience teaching online and/or in a brick‑and‑mortar environment.
• Experience with online learning platforms.

Salary range: $48,000 – $52,000, plus eligibility for a performance bonus. Additional benefits may include health, retirement, and paid time off.

This position is virtual and requires working independently, typically 40+ hours per week. A professional home office without distraction is essential.
