This is a temporary or on‑call position. Assists in the planning, instruction (coaching), promotion and administration of a sport, game, or athletic program; assists with conditioning of players, skill development, and play techniques. Term: temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on‑call.

On‑call allows working 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

• Instructing, teaching, and coaching student‑athletes on game strategies and performance principles during practice and competition.
• Must be able to organize and facilitate multiple practices per week in person or using remote platforms.
• Conducting video analysis and instruction as a teaching and preparation tool.
• Willingness and ability to travel to LAN competitions.
• Ensuring player eligibility in all collegiate leagues and competitions and maintaining player records of that eligibility.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Prior coaching, teaching, and/or advising experience.
• Extensive experience and credentials in Valorant.
• Significant knowledge of esports, including but not limited to general strategies, team building, skills building, and competition strategies.
• Knowledge of collegiate esports rules and regulations.
