Reading Program Coordinator, Alpha (Remote) – $100,000/year USD

Join Crossover to support Alpha School in creating and implementing AI‑adaptive reading workshops that improve phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners. This role focuses on data‑informed instruction, technology partnership, and scaling a reading program across national campuses.

Base pay
: $50.00/hr – $50.00/hr ($100,000 annual—weekly pay). Health benefits from day one, HSA/FSA options, 401(k) Roth, relocation assistance provided. The position may require on‑site work at one of our campuses:

What You Will Be Doing

• Implement adaptive reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency.
• Create personalized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks.
• Review student performance data to optimize instruction and identify actionable findings.
• Partner with engineers to assess and improve AI literacy platforms based on classroom outcomes.
• Build scalable, AI‑enhanced materials that support early elementary students in reaching grade‑level reading proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of experience delivering small‑group reading interventions to early elementary students.
• Skilled at assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre‑written curricula.
• Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work on‑site at one of our campuses:

  Plano, TX;
  Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico.

Additional Information

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) long‑term contract position. The compensation level is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. Consult  for details.
