Overview2 Hour Learning has developed a system in which students learn at twice the typical rate, spending only two hours per day. This is accomplished through AI‑driven tutoring, progression anchored in mastery, and a fundamental break from traditional classroom frameworks. Outcomes are outstanding. The role requires a leader who can harmonize execution across varied school formats, elevate academic standards, and serve as a public advocate for evidence‑based learning science.
Responsibilities- Develop academic structures that convert learning science into actionable direction for curriculum design, motivation frameworks, and application architecture.
- Conduct academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to confirm alignment, accountability, and performance across school teams.
- Integrate data, interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify critical obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend interventions.
- Ensure strategic coherence through structured planning, iterative feedback, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
- Serve as the public face of 2 Hour Learning in high‑profile settings—including keynote addresses and engagements with ministries of education—to influence global perspectives on education.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- 7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes.
- Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning.
- Track record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advising.
- Strong performance‑management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar.
- Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions.
- Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders.
- Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high‑performing EdTech venture.
- Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts.
- Deep familiarity with Bloom’s 2‑Sigma research and other mastery‑learning frameworks.
- Full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position.
- Immediate availability; independent contractor agreement with Crossover as Contractor of Record.
- Base pay: $200.00/hr – $200.00/hr equivalent annual compensation $400,000 USD/year (40 hrs/week, 50 weeks/year). Weekly payment schedule.
