Academic Lead (Greenwich Online)

Salary: £58,225 to £67,468 plus £4,228 London weighting per annum

Location: Greenwich Campus

Contract Type: Permanent

Release Date: Saturday 20 December 2025

Closing Date: Friday 30 January 2026

Responsibilities

The post holder will provide academic leadership to Greenwich Online, implementing strategies and plans to promote and set standards of teaching excellence across our online programmes and academic activity.

The successful candidate will manage Programme Leads (Online) and provide leadership support to colleagues teaching across Greenwich Online. You will make a strong, positive contribution to the Greenwich Online profile in learning and teaching, adding value to the student experience and the University’s objectives in relation to achieving excellence.

At this level you are expected to be a leading figure in the national or international academic community, with a proven track record in achieving impact in online learning.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven track record in online learning and recognised leadership within the national or international academic community are required.
