Job Overview

Grade Levels K-12 German U.S. Certified Teacher – Virtual. Teach live German instruction to public K-12 classrooms across the United States from home. Work part‑time (10‑20 hours per week) during normal school hours and build long‑term relationships with students.

• Deliver live, interactive German instruction that mirrors a traditional classroom.
• Build and maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment with students, classroom coaches, and school staff.
• Meet attendance, deadline, and record‑keeping expectations set by Elevate and the district.
• Use remote teaching technology and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Participate in coaching, peer mentoring, and professional development opportunities.

• Active, verifiable U.S. teaching certification for German.
• Certified and experienced teaching students K‑12 in German.
• Firm commitment to 10‑20 hours of part‑time, in‑person school time per week for the 2025‑2026 school year.
• Physically reside in the United States throughout the school year.
• Available 3‑hour blocks each weekday (Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑4 PM EST) during normal school hours.
• Reliable, high‑speed internet connection and a laptop or desktop computer.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and proficiency with remote teaching tools.
