Overview

Alpha School is a learning rebellion that harnesses AI to accelerate reading and unleash student potential. The role is Literacy Coordinator leading data‑informed instruction and AI platform integration for early elementary students.

Base pay $50.00/hour ($100,000 annual salary). Weekly payment. Health benefits begin day one plus HSA/FSA and 401(k) Roth. Relocation assistance provided.

• Conduct adaptive reading workshops focused on phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
• Create personalized gamified literacy benchmarks that motivate students.
• Review student performance data, adjust instruction, and identify actionable trends.
• Partner with engineering teams to assess and improve AI literacy platforms informed by classroom outcomes.
• Build scalable, AI‑integrated curriculum that supports early elementary students in reaching grade‑level proficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years experience facilitating small‑group reading interventions for early elementary students.
• Capable of assessing reading proficiency, organizing students into groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre‑written curricula.
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student engagement patterns within those tools.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
• Available to work on‑site at one of the listed locations.

Full‑time (40 hours weekly) position with immediate availability. Contractor of Record through Crossover. Weekly payment period.
