Join 2 Hour Learning, a global education technology company that delivers AI‑driven, mastery‑based instruction in just two hours a day. We are seeking an academic leader to scale our evidence‑based model, elevate school‑level performance, and advocate for rigorous, data‑driven learning worldwide.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop academic frameworks that translate learning‑science principles into actionable guidance for curriculum design, motivation, and product features.
  • Facilitate academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to confirm alignment and enforce accountability across all school sites.
  • Conduct ecosystem reviews through data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation to identify barriers to accelerated learning and recommend concrete interventions.
  • Establish strategic coherence via structured planning, continuous feedback, and milestone accountability to keep teams focused on learning objectives.
  • Serve as the principal external representative of 2 Hour Learning, from keynote presentations to engagements with Ministries of Education, advancing the movement of evidence‑based, AI‑enhanced education.

  • Working on disconnected curriculum initiatives that lack systemic impact.
  • Producing theoretical research detached from student performance or operational execution.
  • Transferring performance accountability to middle management or external consultants.
  • Relying on institutional reputation or academic theory alone to persuade stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Scale and refine 2 Hour Learning’s validated academic model by aligning execution across school sites, raising leadership performance standards, and establishing yourself as the authoritative public voice for a movement grounded in rigorous science and demonstrated outcomes.

Basic Requirements
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes.
  • Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning.
  • Track record of public thought leadership (media, keynotes, books, advisory roles).
  • Strong performance‑management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar.
  • Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders.
Nice‑to‑have Requirements
  • Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high‑performing EdTech venture.
  • Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts.
  • Deep familiarity with Bloom’s 2 Sigma research and other mastery‑learning frameworks.

Working with us

This is a full‑time (40 hrs per week) long‑term position. The role is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement as a Contractor of Record with Crossover. Compensation is $200 USD per hour (≈ $400 000 USD per year, 40 hrs/week, 50 weeks/year). Payment is weekly.
