Alpha School is demonstrating that literacy transformation doesn't demand 6‑hour school days. Our 2‑Hour Learning approach combines AI‑adaptive platforms with skilled teaching to accelerate reading progress.

Your role: create and execute workshops that produce measurable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners, then support us in replicating this program at campuses nationwide.

This is not about administrative paperwork or lesson templates. It is about evidence‑based teaching, technology partnership, and constructing a reading intervention that serves thousands of students effectively.

• Conducting adaptive reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency abilities.
• Creating personalized motivational experiences through gamified literacy achievement markers.
• Reviewing student performance data to improve teaching methods and identify actionable patterns.
• Partnering with engineering teams to assess and refine AI literacy platforms using real classroom feedback.
• Building scalable, AI‑supported instructional content that helps early elementary students reach grade‑level reading proficiency.

• Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing small‑group reading interventions for early elementary students.
• Capable of assessing reading proficiency, forming student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre‑packaged curricula.
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to adapt instruction based on student interaction patterns.
• Authorized to work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements.
• Available to work on‑site at one of our locations:
  Austin, TX;
  Fort Worth, TX;
  Plano, TX;
  Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico.

Full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is weekly. Consult  for more details.
