Base pay range

$30 per hour – $30 per hour

Your role is to inspire students—not to manage paperwork, enforce rules, or follow rigid lesson plans. Novatio School has redesigned education from the ground up, placing creativity, confidence, and curiosity at its core. Students complete their academic work in just two concentrated morning hours using an AI‑driven learning platform. The afternoons are reserved for what matters most: hands‑on workshops that build real‑world skills and broaden students' sense of what's achievable.

Instead of teaching conventional lessons, you'll serve as the mentor every student needs—someone who energizes them each day and equips them with essential life skills through engaging, interactive workshops.

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating engaging virtual workshops that develop life skills such as collaboration, communication, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking.
• Guiding students through immersion tracks using project‑based, hands‑on learning methods.
• Building a welcoming, energetic virtual environment where students feel empowered to explore and develop.
• Leveraging learning data and insights to personalize support and motivation for each student.
• Working alongside educators from diverse time zones and backgrounds to provide a dynamic, adaptable learning experience.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Instructing core academic content (our AI tutors manage that).
• Adhering to a strict schedule or standardized teaching approach.
• Running lecture‑based, passive classroom sessions.

Key Responsibilities

Empower students globally to become self‑assured problem‑solvers by facilitating immersive life‑skills workshops within a virtual‑first, flexible school setting.

Basic Requirements

• Valid US teaching certificate from any state.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or coaching students (Grades 4–8 preferred).
• Strong virtual presence; comfortable leading via video.
• Available to work full‑time (Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm Arizona time).
• Ready to begin within 2‑3 weeks.
• Excited to work in a tech‑forward, student‑centered school.

Nice‑to‑have Requirements

• Spanish fluency (highly valued for our immersion track).
• Experience leading bilingual workshops, clubs, or enrichment programs.
• Background in project‑based learning, creative education, or alternative schools.

Working with us

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60 000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
