• Serve as a School Certifying Official and primary contact for Department of Veterans Affairs education benefits
• Assist in the development of training materials to ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies
• Provide counseling to students and parents regarding financial aid processes
• Analyze and evaluate student financial needs, advising on the availability of financial assistance
• Collaborate with university personnel and outside agencies in administering aid applicants' verification and certification eligibility

• Must comply with Department of Veterans Affairs and university policies and procedures
• Experience in financial aid counseling or related field
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and university student aid regulations
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with military-connected students
• Ability to analyze and evaluate financial needs of students

• Previous experience working with military-connected students or Veterans
• Familiarity with financial aid programs and scholarship administration
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience in developing training materials or conducting outreach campaigns
