Online English Scottish Teacher

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an Online English Scottish Teacher to provide customized online lessons to our clients.

You will have an active and independent role as a language teacher. Once onboarded, you'll have access to the teachers' platform and receive offers. With the assistance of your Talent Success Coach, you can accept the classes that match your schedule and preferences. You have complete control over your lessons, and we don't require a minimum number of hours weekly or monthly.

• Availability: mornings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - UK
• Preferred start date: early January 2026
• Lesson Frequency: 2 lessons per week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour and 30 min
• Location / Time zone:
  Aberdeen, Scotland (GMT)
• Preferred platform:
  Cannot use Teams or Google Meet
• Current target language level: approximately Intermediate - would like to be assessed by the teacher
• Native and other spoken languages:
  Bahasa Indonesian
• Language needs and goals:
  She wants to improve everyday conversation, pronunciation, and commonly used local phrases and idioms.
• Learning preferences:
  She enjoys conversation practice, games, varied learning methods, and feedback; she doesn't like rigid, overly structured lessons, but she likes knowing lesson objectives.
• Interests: walking, travelling, reading, and crafting.

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
• To have a minimum of two years of experience teaching English
