Part‑time Faculty Early Childhood Education Online

The Vermont State University Early Childhood Online program invites applications for a part‑time online faculty role. Candidates should possess content knowledge and experience in Early Childhood Education.

• Knowledge and ability to evaluate assessment design and scaffold course content focused on measuring and documenting learning impact.
• Experience using observational and authentic assessment tools as part of course content.
• Ability to identify, define, and apply developmentally and culturally appropriate learning approaches for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Skill in planning early childhood curricula using Understanding by Design, incorporating biological and social environments.

• Experience teaching or learning within an online asynchronous environment.
• Professional experience in Early Childhood Education.
• Master’s degree required.

Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement. Compensation range available in the collective bargaining agreement.
