What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Provide instructional tutoring in statistics through individual appointments and small group sessions via Zoom
• Communicate professionally and positively with students through the Office s email accounts
• Contribute to Tutoring Program initiatives by developing resources and participating in team meetings
• Commit to tutoring needs, including offering at least one weekend hour of tutoring per month
• Complete program training and attend weekly peer tutor meetings led by the Instructional Specialist

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Must be a current Walden student enrolled in a doctoral program at Walden University
• Completed graduate-level statistics coursework (RSCH 8210 or equivalent) is required
• 3+ years of work experience utilizing statistics on a regular basis preferred
• Strong knowledge of graduate-level statistics and effective study strategies for adult learners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence with students

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience teaching or learning in online learning management systems
• Familiarity with additional analytical software such as Excel
• Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet diverse learning needs
